Policies
Sizing
Please refer to the sizing chart when selecting your size. If you fall between two sizes, opt for the larger size as it is easier to take in a garment then to let it out. For several of the garments, the bust and waist measurements are more important than the hip as most of the garments have full skirts. However, please contact us if you are unsure of which size to purchase.
It is recommended to have someone else take your measurements (a skilled seamstress is preferred), and we are happy to provide a diagram explaining the proper places to measure.
Alterations by your local seamstress may be necessary for a perfect fit, are not included in the purchase of the dress, and are not the responsibility of Whitney Deal. Sizing is determined from standard measurements and are not made for custom fit. All dresses are made to order by the designer.
Returns/Refunds
All dresses are made to order by the designer. I take great pride in providing accurate images and descriptions for each of the garments and welcome any questions before purchasing. Customers must contact us within 48 hours of receiving their items for a refund to be considered. Refund requests are considered on a case-by-case basis, are not guaranteed, and are provided at Whitney Deal's discretion, and typically only if a garment arrives defected. Refunds will not be given for inaccurate fit or incorrect size, it is important to refer to the sizing chart before ordering and note that alterations may be necessary by a professional seamstress for a perfect fit. Any garment that has been accepted as a return must be returned in the original state from which it was produced.
Exchanges
While returns/refunds for inaccurate fit or incorrect size are not accepted, we are happy to work with you on an exchange for wedding dresses only. Customers must contact us within 48 hours of receiving their items for an exchange to be considered. Shipping costs for exchanged items are at the expense of the customer. Any garment that has been accepted as an exchange must be returned in the original state from which it was produced.
Shipping
Garden Party & Bridesmaid Dresses
It will take approximately 3-6 weeks from order to delivery. All dresses are made to order and are shipped via UPS with delivery confirmation. International shipping also available. You will be notified when your dress is shipped.
Wedding Dresses
It will take approximately 1-2 months from order to delivery. All dresses are made to order and are shipped via UPS with delivery confirmation. International shipping also available. You will be notified when your dress is shipped.
Try-On Program
Would you like to see a dress up-close before purchasing or figure out the correct sizing? We offer a try-on program with a signed agreement to help calm concerns about ordering online. This option is only available for US customers and considered on a case-by-case basis, please contact us if you are interested.
Custom Orders
Custom dress arrangements can be made for wedding dresses only and you will work one on one with Whitney to create a completely custom dress, quotes begin at $1200. If you are interested in making small changes to any existing style, feel free to contact us to see if it's possible! A small fee will apply.
Farbic Swatches
If you are interested in seeing a particular fabric up close, feel free to contact us and we will mail you a swatch of the fabric.
Maternity & Plus Size
Several of the dresses can be adjusted for maternity and plus sizing, please contact us before ordering to make arrangements.
Payment
Payment must be made in full before production can be started on a dress. Paypal and most major credit cards are accepted.

Wedding Dresses:

2-4 weeks - $250
4-8 weeks - $150
Changes & Cancellations
Orders cannot be changed or cancelled after production has begun.
